The accuracy grade of the weighing sensor includes the technical indexes such as nonlinearity, creep, repeatability, lag and sensitivity of the sensor. We should not blindly seek for high-grade sensors when selecting, but should consider the accuracy grade and cost of the electronic scale. In general, the total accuracy of the selected sensor is the sum of the three indexes of nonlinearity, non-repeatability and hysteresis, and the root mean square value is slightly higher than the accuracy of the scale.
2, the scope of use of various types of sensors
The selection of weighing sensor mode mainly depends on the weighing type and device space, so as to ensure that the device is suitable and the weighing is safe and reliable; On the other hand, we should consider the opinions of manufacturers. As far as weighing sensor manufacturers are concerned, it generally defines the stress condition, performance index, device mode, structure mode, elastomer material, etc. For example, aluminum alloy cantilever sensor is suitable for electronic pricing scales, platform scales, case scales, etc. Steel cantilever beam sensor is suitable for electronic belt scale, sorting scale, etc. Steel bridge sensor is suitable for track scale, truck scale, etc. Column sensor is suitable for truck scale, dynamic track scale, large tonnage hopper scale, etc.
3. Use environment
Load cell is actually an output device that converts mass signals into measurable electrical signals. When using a sensor, we should first consider the practical working environment where the sensor is located, which is very important for the correct selection of the sensor. It is related to whether the sensor can work normally, its safety and service life, and even the reliability and safety of the whole weighing instrument.
In general, the high temperature environment causes problems such as melting of coating data, civilized solder joints and structural changes of internal stress in elastomer. The influence of dust and humidity on the formation of short circuit of sensor; In a highly corrosive environment, the sensor elastomer will be damaged or short-circuited; The electromagnetic field will interfere with the sensor output.
