How to use weighing module in material storage and production process

Many chemical enterprises use various storage tanks and measuring tanks in the process of material storage and production, but they generally encounter two problems, one is the measurement of materials, and the other is the manipulation of production process.

1. The module is applied to material measurement.

Generally speaking, at present, most of the measurement of liquid in storage tanks is based on scale or flowmeter, but these two methods are based on volume, and then the component quantity is converted according to the density of liquid. Because the density is related to the temperature factor, the error is relatively large. Although there is a mass flowmeter now, it is rarely used because of its high price, so it is more economical and practical to use electronic weighing module to directly weigh the component of materials.

2. The module is used for liquid level indication and control.

Liquid level is an important control parameter in the chemical production process. Generally, besides the field liquid level indicator, the transmitter is used to convert the liquid level signal into standard electrical signal or steam signal and transmit it to the control room. However, this method may not only cause the liquid level error due to the density change mentioned above, but also cause false liquid level due to material crystallization and blockage, and even lead to accidents in severe cases. In addition, because the measuring part of the transmitter directly touches the measured medium, expensive corrosion-resistant materials are needed for some corrosive media, and the weighing module does not directly touch the measured medium, so the above defects do not exist. And the weighing display instrument can be connected to the recorder and regulator with analog output interface to realize automatic recording and control.

3. It is applied to occasions with strict requirements on feeding quantity.

Some production processes have strict requirements on the amount of feeding, and many enterprises put the metering tank directly on the ground scale to control the amount of feeding. However, when the ground scale is overhauled or verified, it is more troublesome to hoist the measuring tank with hoisting equipment. If the electronic weighing module is selected, because the measuring tank itself is used as the scale body, there is no hoisting problem and the maintenance is more convenient.
