Traditional robot workstations typically have safety signals consisting of emergency stop, door lock, light curtain, and two hand buttons. They are each connected to the corresponding safety relay module to cut off the power source of the robot and achieve the robot's stopping action when the safety signal is triggered.
Although this system configuration ensures safety, in actual production sites, occasional safety signal triggers can cause the robot to constantly stop and restart. Before starting the robot, a safety specialist is usually required to conduct a hazard investigation, which reduces production efficiency.
